AI Share of Voice
AI share of voice is the percentage of AI-generated answers to a set of category questions that name your brand, measured against the share every tracked competitor holds in the same answers. It turns scattered brand mentions into a single competitive scoreboard for AI visibility.
It is calculated across repeated runs and multiple models rather than a single query, because AI answers vary run to run. A durable rise in AI share of voice means models increasingly treat you as a default answer for the category; a competitor's rise is the earliest warning that you are being displaced.
